New Mandatory Travel Insurance Rules for Visitors
As part of our commitment to keeping our guests informed, we want to highlight a significant new policy introduced by the Kenyan government this past week.
Effective July 30, 2026, the government has mandated that all international visitors staying in Kenya for less than 12 months must possess travel health insurance.
The policy, officially gazetted on July 29, requires this insurance to have a minimum coverage benefit limit of $50,000.
This initiative aims to protect travelers from unexpected medical expenses while visiting.
We highly advise all our upcoming international guests to verify their travel insurance coverage limits prior to flying, ensuring a smooth and worry-free arrival ahead of your incredible safari with us!
